Chelmsford man to appear at court after six mile police pursuit through Uttlesford

A man who was pursued by Essex Police for six miles through Uttlesford has been charged with driving offences.
Ashley Byford, 20, of West Avenue, Chelmsford, is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, (November 21), charged with failing to stop for police, driving without due care and attention, driving while disqualified and driving without insurance.
Police arrested a man in Hartford End at around 3.40am today after signalling a flatbed van carrying a digger to stop in Rayne.
