THANKS to the “very generous support” of the PTA the children at Great Sampford School were celebrating the arrival of over 1,000 new books to completely replace their existing reading scheme.
Headteacher Ian Pollard said: “Our current scheme was in much need of improvement. We last carried out a major review of reading resources over 10 years ago and, in that time, there have been some great developments.
The new books are so much more exciting and engaging for the children to read and I know that the children are really eager to get their hands on them.”
