YEAR 6 pupils at Chrishall Holy Trinity & St Nicholas Primary School were treated to a surprise tea party to celebrate the school’s latest Ofsted inspection.

The school was judged good in every category with outstanding features and “a strong emphasis on pupils enjoying their learning and developing a full range of personal skills”. Inspectors noted the school’s rich curriculum with many sports and creative arts opportunities.

Year 6 was particularly commended. “The conduct of the older pupils is excellent and they provide outstanding role models for younger pupils. They take responsibility for organising play activities and for leading weekly assemblies,” read the report.

Headteacher Sharon Williams, class teacher Karen Hall and year group governor Sarah Brock laid on the tea party for the pupils as a reward.
