Filming for a fitness video took place as part of collaboration between Saffron Walden’s Fairycroft House and theatre company Bedazzled on Sunday (June 14).
Fronted by CITV’s Jenny Jones, with the help of some of Bedazzled’s students who are living with learning disabilities, the video was filmed by volunteers at Fairycroft House.
Tim Atkinson, musician and director of Fairycroft House Community Interest Company, said: “They basically had to dress the studio and were liaison for the whole day. They looked after the on screen people and they all manned a camera.”
Fairycroft House offers volunteering opportunities for young people who are unemployed and provides unique experience in media, music, business and arts.
Charlie Braybrooke, 19, and Luke Sumner, 19, both helped shoot the film.
Mr Braybrooke said: “It was a unique experience for someone of our age category.
“We started at Fairycroft because we are given so much opportunity in the long run and it’s nice to feel that people aren’t looking down at the youth.”

The film, Dance It Off, will be made into a DVD for those who don’t feel comfortable going to classes or to the gym and includes music composed by Mr Atkinson.
Mr Sumner added: “It was the first time we have been involved with something like that. It took all day, from 8am to 4pm.
“It’s not something you usually get to do.”
Fairycroft will be hosting musicians for the Fete de la Musique on Sunday (June 21). For more information on Bedazzled activities and courses visit www.BedazzleArts.com or call 07841 990611
