A SUMMER fete raised more than £850 for Clavering Primary School on Friday.

The school was packed with children, parents and teachers trying their luck at beat the goalie, feel the veg, splat the rat, piggy golf and much more, all organised by the Friends of Clavering School.

The Year Two Recorder Club entertained those enjoying homemade cakes and teas in the school hall. And outdoors, barbecued hotdogs and burgers kept the hungry crowds happy.

Headteacher Rosalind Allsop said: “The event was a great success and we would like to thank the Friends of Clavering School, led by Louise Barker and Jemma Chambers for their continuous hard work”.
