With the windows down and roof off, some of the Saffron Walden Business Improvement District (BID) team and friends made their way into town last Saturday (November 17).

A spokesman for the BID team said: “It was a fun way to ride into town. The bus brought a smile and a wave from passers-by. Running the buses in the lead up to Christmas gives locals and visitors alike a chance to see our lovely market town and spend time in the shops and cafes we have.”

Lodges Vintages buses will be running a free service every Saturday from Audley End Village (beside Audley End Miniature Railway’s overflow car park) to George Street in Saffron Walden. Services run from 10am-5.30pm.

The BID team has thanked Cliff Parisi and Lodges Coaches for getting involved with festive fun in Saffron Walden.
