A COMIC workshop is being held at Saffron Walden Library from 2pm to 4pm on Monday October 26.

Youngsters will be given the opportunity to write and illustrate their own comic strip with help from Alasdair Duncan of Insomnia Publications.

Essex County Council's David Finch said: "Graphic novels are an important part of the library and this workshop should help to foster local talent and maybe even create a future author."

There are 20 free places for anyone over the age of 11 and tickets are available from the library on the Market Square. Booking is essential. For more information call the library on 01799 523178.
