POLICE are appealing to the public to help find a suspected thief.

The crime happened when a computer tablet was left on top of a pay-and-display parking ticket machine at Stansted Airport shortly after 10pm on Monday, July 16. The owner, a 24-year-old man from Chorleywood in Hertfordshire, realised his error and returned to the scene to find it had been stolen.

Investigating officer, PC Andy Williams, said: “We would urge people to look closely at the CCTV images we have recovered from the car park and contact us if they have a name for him so that we can arrest him.”
