Uttlesford District Council has mapped out an illustrated route to help residents understand its future development proposals.

It has created an interactive online Story Map so the public can navigate around the key issues and opportunities within the Draft Local Plan.

It contains a series of maps and images, as well as links to the policies which will guide future development within the local authority area up to 2033.

The Story Map is accessible via www.uttlesford.gov.uk/lpstorymap.

The consultation period ends on September 4. Comments can be made via www.uttlesford.gov.uk/draftplan2017; by email to planningpolicy@uttlesford.gov.uk; or by post to: Planning Policy Team, Uttlesford District Council, London Road, Saffron Walden CB11 4ER.

Hard copies can be viewed at Uttlesford District Council’s offices in Saffron Walden, at Thaxted Community Information Centre, and in libraries and mobile libraries.

Two unstaffed information points are available during normal opening hours at Great Dunmow Library and at the district council offces in Saffron Walden.
