Saffron Walden’s new destination cycling café was abuzz this Easter weekend in its first week of trade.
Cyclists were able to refuel en route at Bicicletta con Velo, with others ogling the apparel on offer and even non-helmet bearing pedestrians soaking up the atmosphere.
“It’s been a really nice take up by the town and we’ve been enjoying working here,” manager Matt Thomas-Keeping told the Reporter.
“It’s a really inclusive space, both for cyclists and those who aren’t with their bikes.”
Owner Christopher Middleton, who came up with the idea for the café, added: “I think it’s attracting more people to the town, which is great for Saffron Walden.”
