Many of the town’s independent retailers will be showcassing their wares at a fashion show next Thursday (October 31), at 7.45pm.
Blue, Petrus, Johnny and Jenny Briggs, Gun Hill, Elizabeth Gash, Jack’s, Gray Palmer and Beales are all involved in the event, organised by the mayor, Keith Eden, in the Town Hall to raise fuinds for his chosen charity, SWOP (Saffron Walden Opportunity Playgroup). The playgroup is for children aged 0-5 years with special needs, their parents/carers and under school-age siblings.
Admission to the show is £10 to include a glass of wine. There will be a licensed bar.
