A PUPPY from Saffron Walden has qualified for this year's Crufts dog show.
Rupert, an 18-month-old Airedale, will be appearing in the prestigious event for the first time after qualifying for the 11.3-14.3.
Owner Margit Wendelberger-James said: "Rupert and I have great hopes and expectations, and so have my friends with their dogs who have also qualified."
Crufts is the world's largest dog show, with nearly 28,000 dogs enjoying the excitement of Best in Show with their owners.
The event runs from March 11 to 14 at the NEC in Birmingham.
