Police are looking for the owner of around fifty pieces of jewellery thought to be stolen, after they were found in a pillowcase behind a village pub.
Police are looking for the owner of around fifty pieces of jewellery thought to be stolen, after they were found in a pillowcase behind a village pub.
A member of the public recovered the items behind the Yew Tree Inn in Manuden, before bringing them to Saffron Walden police station.
A commemorative coin, issued by Essex County Council and celebrating UK citizenship, was amongst the pieces, as well as a large amount of costume jewellery and a Swatch watch.
The theft has not yet been reported.
