Drivers in Cambridgeshire are being reminded that roads may be busier than usual this weekend due to the Duxford Air Festival.

Anyone travelling through the area is being advised to allow extra time for their journey or to plan an alternative route or time.

The Duxford Air Festival is taking place at the Imperial War Museum (IWM) Duxford on Saturday, May 27 and Sunday, May 28, and is an advance ticket event.

Anyone without a ticket is advised not to travel to the event and Highways England is working in partnership with IWM Duxford and local authorities coordinate traffic.

There will not be any road closures, but the M11 at Junction 10 is expected to be busier than usual throughout the weekend.

For live traffic updates, visit Highways England’s website here and travel information is also available on 0300 123 5000.
