CHILDREN had an egg-cellent time hunting for treats hidden by the Easter Bunny at the Audley End Miniature Railway this Easter.
Almost 300 tickets were sold for the egg hunt organised by the Saffron Walden and District National Childbirth Trust (NCT).
Volunteer for the NCT Catherine Kelly said: "It was a really successful day and everyone got to ride on the train and find a chocolate Easter egg.
"The weather was fantastic and the children, mums and dads, were able to take their time exploring the woods and looking for their eggs.
"We raised a small amount of money for the NCT, but the main thing was that everybody had fun. I would like to say a big thank you to all the 21 local businesses that sponsored the event.
