The winning candidate in the Sampfords ward for Uttlesford District Council is Simon Howell.
Councillor Howell said: “Im delighted to be re-elected, it’s a wonderful patch. I represent a nice community, I’ve enjoyed it and it has been a privilege. I’m just very pleased to continue serving my community and neighbours
“We’re not very political in the Sampfords, it’s been a nice campaign, I know all my opponents very well and we do politics very nicely in the Sampfords.”
