An Elvis Presley-style Pharaoh was the crowning glory of a school’s production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat.
The Andrew Lloyd Webber play was performed by Year 6 pupils at Dame Bradbury’s School in Saffron Walden.
There were four performances from Wednesday, July 2 to Friday, July 4.
Audiences included the rest of the pupils in the school, staff, family and friends. The musical was a treat for the eyes and ears, with group and solo singing of a very high standard, telling the story of Joseph and his dreams, his jealous brothers and the Elvis Presley-style Pharaoh!
For retiring head of music, Bryn Jones, it was the last in a series of plays stretching back over 16 years, and he joined with the cast for a sing-a-long.
