Essex Country Parks launch 40 days of summer fun

VISITORS to Essex Country Parks will be able to take advantage of a special car parking offer, aimed at enticing families to enjoy the outdoors this summer.

Until September 2, visitors to any of the seven Essex Country Parks will be get unlimited parking for just £10 (valid from day of purchase). The scheme, which was launched at Great Notley Country Park last week, can be purchased online or at the parks.

A series of free outdoor events for families are also running at the sites throughout the summer break, including at nearby Great Notley every Monday where children can enjoy a vareity of attractions with Go Bonkers.

Essex county councillor John Jowers, cabinet member for Libraries, Communities & Planning, said: “The car parking summer special offer is real value for money for all park goers, as it entitles families to unlimited parking at seven different parks across the county throughout July and August.

“Alongside the parking offer visitors to the park can take part in a number of activities taking place in the parks across the summer.”
