Essex fire crews rescue dog from 20ft ditch

FIREFIGHTERS have rescued a dog from a 20ft ditch after it fell.

Fire crews were called to the scene in Vicarage Road, Pleshey, at around 8.40am today after its owner raised the alarm.

The dog was rescued by 9.15am. It is believed the pet did not suffer any injuries.
