A HORSE has been rescued from a river by firefighters.
The animal got into difficulty just before 9.30am on Friday (Oct 22) and became stuck near to Watermill Lane, Hazel End, Stansted.
Two crews from Stansted and Harlow were scrambled and managed to rescue the horse within an hour.
It was left in the care of its owner.
