People may have problems trying to contact Essex Police’s non-emergency number this morning (Tuesday).
Technical problems are affecting the 101 phone number.
A police spokesman said: “We would like to apologise to anyone who is experiencing an issue when trying to call us on the non-emergency number.
“Our technical staff are working with the service provider to get these issues resolved as soon as possible.”
