POLICE have launched an appeal for information about an assault which left a Stansted man with a head injury.
The 40-year-old man was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow, to receive stitches following the incident, which happened at about 10.45pm on Sunday September 6 in Station Road, outside Stansted's railway station.
Police believe a group of youths nearby had witnessed the incident.

- A 25-year-old man from Elsenham was arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent and possession of a controlled drug. He is currently on police bail until November 25.
