ST MARY’S Church Saffron Walden will once again open throughout daylight hours every day after a period of work to the south aisle.
The much-needed redecoration and repair had meant that the church could not be open to the public. But the work is now complete.
The ministry team apologises for any inconvenience caused and look forward to welcoming you during the summer to visit or at any of the services.
Churchwarden Bron Ferland, who has been co-ordinating the work for the church, said: “Historic buildings like this need a lot of looking after and thanks to our builders, it now looks clean and fresh once more.
“We hope that many visitors will once more be able to experience the special atmosphere of our church.”
