DIVISIONAL commander at Stansted Airport Police Station, Chief Supt Peter Coltman, has retired after 30 years' service.
The 51-year-old policeman will leave Essex Police to set up a training business called Principled Wellbeing with his wife Sue.
Starting his career in Clacton, Chf Supt Coltman later became head of Special Branch during the years of conflict in Northern Ireland and the London bombings.
He moved on to become divisional commander at Harlow and, later, head of the forces Professional Standards board before finishing his career at Stansted Airport which he described as a "lovely, friendly place to work".
