WORK to repair the surface of the M11 between junctions seven and eight will start on Monday (February 22).
The repairs will be carried out overnight on both northbound and southbound carriageways between 10pm and 5am weeknights only and will involve lane closures on both carriageways, one direction at a time with the exception of one night.
Two nights of work on the northbound side will require traffic to run on the hard shoulder only.
A 50mph speed restriction, with no overtaking, will be in place between the junctions.
Work to restore traffic counter loops will follow on after carriageway surface repair work.
However, there will be no traffic management in place during peak hours.
