Show of support
A MEMORY walk around the gardens of Audley End was held to raise awareness and funds to support people with dementia.
The four-mile walk was organised by the Alzheimer’s Society’s Uttlesford branch on Saturday and drew scores of people.
One said: “We held the event to raise awareness and funds to support our local services but it was also a great chance for people to meet and enjoy walking in the beautiful surroundings.”
Over 450 has been raised which will be used to support Alzheimer’s Society dementia services in Uttlesford district with groups running in Saffron Walden, Ugley and Little Dunmow. Dementia support workers also visit people at home.
