Police, fire and ambulance services will be uniting for a special Emergency Services Day at Saffron Walden Fire Station tomorrow.
Everyone is welcome to join the fun. Visitors will have the chance to climb aboard emergency vehicles, learn life saving skills and chat to the teams who are there when they need them the most.
Chris Cooper, who is organising the event, said: “I’m very excited about this event going ahead as something like this has not been done solely about the three emergency services in the area for a long time.
“I hope that this unusual type of event will draw people to the town to come and have an amazing time.”
Members of Essex Air Ambulance will also be attending the day which will be raising money for Saint Elizabeth’s Hospice in Ipswich.
The event will take place between 10am and 4pm at Saffron Walden Fire Station in Hill Street.
The East of England Ambulance Service Trust is not organising the event.
