An investigation into the cause of the fire on Church Street last Friday found that it was most likely caused accidentally by sunlight reflecting off glass objects on a balcony.
Firefighters were called at 3.05pm last Friday to a fire in the roof of a furniture shop on Church Street.
When firefighters arrived they reported the fire was in the roof of the three storey property which measured approximately 15m x 15m.
Church Street was closed to traffic so fire crews could safely deal with the fire.
Parts of the roof affected by the fire partially collapsed and by 6.15pm on Friday the fire was put out and incident was scaled down.
