Firefighters are scrambling to extinguish a large area of field after a combine harvester caught alight.

Two crews from Saffron Walden attended the scene on Little Chishell Road in Langley around 3.15pm. Firefighters have reported the machinery and four hectares of stubble in the field are both “well alight.”
