A man had to be freed from a van after crashing into a tree in Elsenham this morning (Friday).
Fire crews from Stansted and Newport were called to Hall Road at 6.47am to reports of the single-vehicle crash.
The man was freed by 7.48am and was treated by paramedics.
A spokesman for the East of England Ambulance Service said they were called at just before 6.50am and assessed two people at the scene.
He added that one was complaining of head and neck pains and the other had no injuries, however both were taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital, in Harlow, as a precaution.
