ST THOMAS More School is holding its first ever 5k and 3k Fun Run on Saturday May 14.
The event has been organised by the school’s PSA, assisted by both the Saffron Striders and WaldenTri clubs, to raise funds towards the school’s new music block.
It is open to all ages and abilities, along with a fun fancy dress toddle for under-fours.
Entry fees are 8 for 5k, 5 for 3k and 2 for the toddle. All entries on the day are 10.
There will be a medal for every finisher and prizes for first, second and third male and female in each distance, along with prizes for the best fancy dress.
Gates open at 9.30am with the 5k run starting at 10.30am and the 3k at 11.45am. The fun toddle will continue throughout the day.
A spokesman said: “With the mayor coming along to help start the proceedings and to get the runners underway and a display of Audi cars, we hope it will be a fun event for all the family.”
