BURGLARS stole more than £10,000 worth of computer equipment from five firms based in a building on Market Street in Saffron Walden last Wednesday night.

The Kevin Henry Estate Agents' building was broken into causing £200 of damage. Once inside, the burglars broke into the office of John Armstrong Research, causing £100 damage, and stole £1500 worth of computer equipment.

An office belonging to Homelet also had two monitors worth £500 stolen, while £600 of equipment was taken from the office of George Walsh, before the Claire Webber Graphic Design had £9000 of equipment stolen.
