A PERSISTENT fly-tipper is being hunted by Uttlesford District Council after 20 bags of compost were dumped in Langley.
The cream coloured bags, left in a ditch on Valance Road, were reported to UDC last Tuesday and investigating officer Richard Kellet is appealing for details to trace the culprit. He said: "This is the third case of this kind inside a year so it seems to be a persistent fly tipper." Last June, 20 bags were removed from the same location and another two bags were left there in October."
Anyone with information should call UDC on 01799 510558.
