Children at an Uttlesford School have been given the chance to try their hand at playing a musical instrument.
Year 3 pupils from Radwinter Primary are taking part in a five-week course, led by Martin Wilson, founder of the Essex North Youth Band (ENYB), where they are given an instrument and tuition at no cost to the parents.
Mr Wilson is spending two-hours a week training the children and at the end of the course they will put on a concert. The project, part of ENYB, is called Band on the Run. Mr Wilson hopes to expand it to other schools.
