Four people were taken to hospital last night (Thursday) after a multi-vehicle crash in Hempstead, Saffron Walden.
Several cars were involved in the collision. Three ambulances, an ambulance officer, and East Anglian Air Ambulance went to the scene following a 999 call made just after 7pm.
A spokesperson for the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust (EEAST) said: “A woman in her 20s suffered serious injuries including a possible broken pelvis and injuries to her back and legs. A man and woman also in their 20s sustained minor injuries, and a man in his 60s had facial injuries. All four casualties were taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital by land ambulance.”
