POLICE are investigating a house burglary in Clavering in which four shotguns were stolen.
The suspects forced a rear window to gain access to the property in Butts Green sometime between 10.30am and 1pm on Thursday November 19.
They discovered a hidden key and broke into a locked firearms cabinet before making off with the shotguns - licensed to the householder- two boxes of ammunition and two cartridge belts. Also stolen was �2000 in cash.
Officers believe a white Ford transit van may have been used by the suspects, who are believed to be two white men.
One has short dark hair and the other has light-coloured hair and light clothing.
