THE Internet has made searching for family history information easier than ever before. Millions of pieces of information are now available at a click of a mouse.

But how do you decide which sites to use? Which are the best for your particular search? How do you know what the information you have found is and where it comes from?

If you would like to learn to navigate this electronic maze, the Essex Record Office is offering free learning sessions at the Archive Access Point in Saffron Walden Library on Friday April 16.

Sessions start at 10.30 am and 2pm. Sessions are free of charge but advance booking is essential. Call the Archive Access Point on 01799 523178.
