PUPILS at Friends’ Junior School took part in a harvest celebration which raised funds for the British Aid for Deprived Children.
Pupils from Nursery to Year 6 performed items, sang songs and gave readings to a delighted audience. Guest speaker George Mills spoke about the revival centre he runs in the Ukraine and explained to the children exactly how the funds they helped to raise would achieve there.
The sale of apples, which were picked by the pupils along with cakes baked by the PTA, raised a total of 348.88 for Mr Mill’s charity.
