2012 has proved to be a great year for Linton Village College.

Following on from its outstanding Ofsted report in May, today’s GCSE results are the best in the College’s history: 92% of students achieved 5 grades at A* -C with 71% achieving those grades including C or above in English and Maths, 99% achieved A-G passes, 47% achieved 3 or more A/A* grades.

Principal Caroline Derbyshire commented that “we were confident that this year group would do well. They had just the right attitude to their studies. We are very proud of their achievements, will miss them and wish them future happiness and success.”
