A PHOTOGRAPHIC exhibition is being held to raise money for the refurbishment of Widdington Village Church.

Organisers say that already some great pictures have been entered into the exhibition, which will take place on October 2 and 3 in Widdington Village Gall.

On hand will be Garry Castle, professional photographer to the ‘stars’, who will be judging the event and taking portraits over both days for only 5 per print. A CD with multi images will also be available.

The photographs entered will be available to buy.

Organisers have decided on several first prizes: the public choice and another based on texture and form.

Prizes include a chance to be driven around Langley Park Rally School track in a rally car by a professional driver, food and wine hamper and a digital camera.

Under-12s will be offered two hours tuition with Mr Castle; the over-12s a whole day’s tuition.

Refreshments will be available as well as raffle tickets. Visitors can vote for their favourite photographs between 11am-4pm on the Saturday and 11am-3pm on the Sunday.
