With so many things to remember for your summer holiday packing, here are some top tips to get your holiday off to a flying start:
HOLIDAY PACKING CHECKLIST
• Check weight & size limits for suitcases and hand luggage. Airlines operate different rules so check the limits for your flight.
• Be sensible with packing. Only take what you really need. Do you need six pairs of shoes?
• Buy toiletries after security. Toiletries take up valuable weight and space in suitcases. Liquid restrictions apply to hand luggage, so why not buy sun tan lotions and other liquid toiletries after Security at Stansted, just leave enough space and weight allowance in hand luggage.

• Get to Stansted minimum two hours before your flight. If your airline operates online check-in, make sure you check-in online
• Head straight through security after check-in. Place liquids, gels and pastes into a small plastic bag (20cmx20cm). Bottles and containers must not be bigger than 100ml. Visit stanstedaiport.com/security for up to date security information

• Once through security you can buy liquids which exceed 100ml and carry them on-board aircraft. Just make sure you have enough room and weight allowance in hand luggage
