ELECTRICAL equipment worth about �2000 was stolen during a day-time house burglary in Newport.
A GRANDFATHER clock, Aston Martin cufflinks and a Samsung flatscreen TV were among the items stolen durign a daytime burglary in Hempstead.
Burglars gained access to a cottage in Bumpstead Road by levering open a rear window sometime between 7.30am and 6.15pm on July 14.
They made a messy search of the premises before making off with equipment worth almost �2500. Among the items stolen was a �800 grandfather clock, Aston Martin cufflinks valued at �100, a �300 Samsung 23’ TV and a toolbox containing tools valued at around �600.
