A touch of magic will be added to the outdoor play area of a Wendens Ambo preschool after receiving a grant of almost £1,500.

Wendens Ambo Preschool was allocated the £1499.58 grant for toys and equipment in their outdoor play area as part of a community support programme run by London Stansted Airport.

Stansted Airport offers grants and sponsorships to representatives and people within schools, education, sport, employment, skills training and other projects to try and make a real difference to local communities and organisations.

Preschool Manager, Clare Green, said: “We were over the moon when we found out we had been awarded sponsorship for our outdoor area.

“As a small charity run preschool, we rely heavily on fundraising and sponsorship initiatives and this will really help us make a difference to the children and their enjoyment outside.”

The money will go towards equipment including a fairy house, waterwall, a wigwam and outdoor book crates.
