A THEATRE group will be showing people how to follow their dreams when they give a series of performances in Saffron Walden.

Since starting in 2005, inclusive drama company Groovee Group has brought a number of musical and theatrical performances to the town.

They will perform their latest show 'Follow Your Dreams' to pupils at Katherine Semar Junior and Infant School on Monday (February 22) before taking it to an audience at the Saffron Walden Baptist Church and the Saffron Walden Accuro group.

The play was written by the cast and is based on characters from The Wizard of Oz.

Group organiser Sharon Saltigerald said: "Part of the play is based on the real experience of one of the cast members who, when she was in her school play, was told that she could only be a tree because she wouldn't be able to manage anything else.

"What Groovee Group has shown is that anyone can achieve anything, whatever their circumstances, if they follow their dreams."

In the summer Groovee Group will hold a Groovee Afternoon with music and entertainment. It will feature a special guest performance from inclusive theatre company The Great Pretenders.
