Gym to reopen following refubishment
A GYM is holding an open week for prospective members before its grand opening following a full refurbishment.
Felsted Gym – situated on Felsted School’s grounds - is under renewed management by the school and is re-opening opening on Saturday September 15 to paying members.
All this week members of the public are invited to drop in, view the facilities and have a chat with the qualified members of staff. Open sessions are being held on Saturday (Sept 8) from 10am-2pm; Monday (Sept 10) 5pm-7.30pm; Wednesday (Sept 12) 12pm-2pm and 5pm-7.30pm; and Friday (Sept 14) 5pm-7.30pm.
Sarah Reid, Assistant Bursar at Felsted said: “Our aim is to provide our pupils, staff, parents and members of the community with a market leading exercise facility.
“Although regular users will form our main gym community, we believe that our flexible memberships will attract many who only wish to use the gym on an occasional basis, such as student’s home for the holidays. Under school management, we will also be able to maintain and resource the gym more effectively”.
