A mass choir of schoolchildren sang their hearts out at a concert held at the O2 arena in London.
Youngsters at Newport Primary School were taking part in the Young Voices concert, singing and dancing to a varied repertoire of music that ranged from film soundtracks to present day chart hits.
The children, from Years 3 to 6, were accompanied by staff and parents at last month’s event.
On their return, the children wrote articles for the school’s newsletter, calling the concert “a once in a lifetime experience” and “an honour to take part in”.
