A father is appealing for the return his four-year-old son’s beloved lost toy.
Simon Newman travelled from Elsenham to Bishop’s Stortford on Wednesday (February 17) on the 10.49am service to Liverpool Street with his wife, daughter and son, who left his “DogDog toy” on the train, as they went to the cinema.
Simon said: “My four-year-old son left his ‘DogDog’ that he has had since birth on the 10.49am from Elsenham to Liverpool Street. It goes literally everywhere with him including, and most importantly, bed.
“We’ve told him that DogDog has gone on an adventure to find Paddington Bear – his favourite movie character – however he woke this morning asking whether DogDog had come home yet.”
