THE East of England Ambulance Service is on the look out to recruit more volunteers to its ranks.
It recently backed national Volunteer Week (June 1-7) which sought to recognise the valued contribution of volunteers, as well as encouraging others to consider getting involved.
Perhaps you can become a First Responder, attending category A calls and help save lives in your community.
Or you can become a volunteer driver for local patients going to and from hospital. You can also be a member of the service's new user groups which started up this year, and help shape and inform the work of the Trust.
