THE East of England Ambulance Service is on the look out to recruit more volunteers to its ranks.
It recently backed national Volunteer Week (June 1-7) which sought to recognise the valued contribution of volunteers, as well as encouraging others to consider getting involved.
Perhaps you can become a First Responder, attending category A calls and help save lives in your community.
Or you can become a volunteer driver for local patients going to and from hospital. You can also be a member of the service's new user groups which started up this year, and help shape and inform the work of the Trust.
For more information on these opportunities, visit www.eastamb.nhs.uk and follow the links 'Work for Us' and 'Patient and Public Involvement'.
