LAW firm Hewitsons has donated money to a farming charity after a closely fought cricket match against the National Farmer’s Union (NFU).
A team from Hewitsons’ Cambridge office met with members of the Saffron Walden NFU branch in a 20 over game held at Wendens Ambo. The NFU won a tight contest in the last over of the match.
Following the match, Hewitsons donated 50 to the Royal Agricultural Benevolent Institution (RABI). The cheque was presented to RABI Cambridge Chairman Robin Lee.
For the last two years Hewitsons has been a member of the NFU’s legal panel, which provides support and professional guidance to farmers.
