CHANGES to the senior staff at Stansted Airport sees the departure of the current managing director and the arrival of a new one.

Terry Morgan is leaving the post to join BAA's executive committee as group divisional director, with responsibility for Stansted and Gatwick airports.

His replacement, Stewart Wingate, is taking over as managing director and leaving his post as BAA's chief executive officer at Budapest Airport.

Mr Wingate said: "I'm very pleased to be joining Stansted at such an important time for the airport and to have the opportunity to work with colleagues and the local community to make the most of the huge potential that exists here.
